LINK CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

Founded in 1994, Link' founders extrapolated from their considerable experience in the development, construction, operation, and life-cycle management of energy generation facilities and corporate operations. Since then Link has worked with all energy technologies and fuels, and has recruited teams of nationally and internationally renowned consultants. We are not recently minted engineers or MBAs but rather more senior folk who have earned our credentials "in the fieldhe Link team was one of 22,000 participants who participated in the PowerGen Conference in Orlando in November. PowerGen is an excellent way to keep abreast of the technologies, regulatory changes, and the movers & shakers in the world-wide power generation market.

Small Modular Reactors

Link Focuses on Clients Who Want SMRs

Small Modular Reactors (SMRs vary in size from tens of megawatts to several hundreds of megawatts capacity; and there are numerous technologies in development across the world. Although none are in operation today, there are opnions expressed that it may be as soon as "later this year" or as long as seven years before an SMR enters the construction phase. Link's founders had "nukes", and through our many projects and assignments we have not only been able to infuse the appropriate elements of "nuclear competencies" into the fossil fueled and bioenergy facilities, we have also reciprocally have learned lessons on where/when more entrepreneurially-based approaches must be applied. And Link's focus over the past 19 years has always been on the "plant", the corporate infrastrcture to support the facility (or fleet of facilities), and on the bottom-line impact to the primary stakeholders - - the owners and investors. We think like the owners, and are often compensated in accordance with "outcomes".

Link Responds to Army Sources Sought on "Ratemaking"

Link teamed with Ares Corporation to respond to a Sources Sought notice by the Army's Corp of Engineers (USACE) for "ratemaking" and related support. The effort is designed to support the Army as it analyzes the rates it pays for utilities (electricity, water, etc.) around the U.S. Although this is not an expertice that Link proactively markets, our broad experience in operating "merchant power generation" and project development required us to assemble certain competencies in these areas. Additionally, Link is motivated to expand work with the USACE in Huntsville, and we believe Link can provide them energy-related support unequalled by other Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

Although this is not an expertice that Link proactively markets, our broad experience in operating "merchant power generation", project development, and other consutling assignments required us to assemble certain competencies in these areas. Additionally, Link is motivated to expand work with the USACE in Huntsville, and we believe Link can provide them energy-related support unequalled by other Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

Link and Chemistry

Link's prior experience in biofuels as well as water treatment (primarily re: O&M of facilities) has of course required us to form a group that understands "chemistry". Our addition of Mr. David Webster and Dr. Iraj Moradinia as senior consultants add significantly to these capabilities. Not only can we address the vast majority of complex issues relating to next-generation biofuels and the latest in water treatment for energy facilities around the world, but we can also respond more effectively to nuclear and nuclear weapons related assignments.
