Link Resources SDVOSB Energy Consulting Dennis A. Jones

VICE ADMIRAL DENNIS A. JONES USN (RET) SENIOR CONSULTANT NUCLEAR combines a broad range of educational and hands on engineering experience, gained during two major careers. As a former U.S. Navy submarine officer, he was trained in the very selective Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program. Additionally, Admiral Jones spent over twelve years as corporate Vice President of a major aerospace and defense department oriented corporation.

Admiral Jones has an extensive background in the areas of operational training, leadership training and ethics training. He has long professed that even the smartest and most talented engineers and technicians require continuous ethics training to help them understand the ramifications of their technical decisions. At one time, he oversaw the complete nuclear navy training pipeline, including the school house phase, and the operational hands-on phase conducted at seven operating nuclear power plants.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) is another area where Admiral Jones offers considerable experience to clients. His in-depth knowledge of the due diligence process and his unique ability to identify and verify product cost and marketability provide clients with unparalleled support. During his career, he has participated in over one hundred merger processes, ranging from small to multi-billion dollar companies.

Operations and maintenance is a key ingredient in Admiral Jones' back ground. Clients have benefited from his experience in the operation, design and risk management of nuclear power plants, as well as his experience of operating in the international environment. His involvement in several nuclear refueling operations and plant overhauls provide him with great insight to the operational and cost reduction processes required to be successful.
